My son amazes me. \u00a0When things are good, they are great. \u00a0When things are bad, the whole world crashes around him. \u00a0He is so dramatic. \u00a0There is very little in between for him. \u00a0The moments he is actually \u00a0calm, cool and collected are few during a day.<\/p>\n

This does not surprise me at all. \u00a0I tend to be the same way. \u00a0For those of you reading this who are trying to psycho-analyze the situation, it’s not manic depression. \u00a0It’s called DRAMA! \u00a0More than one person has called me a “drama queen” in the past. \u00a0Though this use to bother me, I have learned that you are who you are. \u00a0This is a basis of my personality. \u00a0I feel things deeply.<\/p>\n

I suppose my son has inherited this fabulous attribute. \u00a0He is so tender hearted. \u00a0Whenever I tell him, “NO!”, he sticks out that bottom lip like I’ve just torn his little heart from his chest. \u00a0He is wonderful.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, he will learn, as his mommy has, that this trait does not have to be a bad thing. \u00a0Of course, it doesn’t have to be quite the production, either. \u00a0The older I get, the more I have learned to harness this superpower of emotion. \u00a0Hopefully, he will learn the lesson more quickly than I. \u00a0If not, I’m in for one serious ride. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
