{"id":17,"date":"2010-08-27T14:13:54","date_gmt":"2010-08-27T14:13:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/calvertstudios.wordpress.com\/?p=17"},"modified":"2010-08-27T14:13:54","modified_gmt":"2010-08-27T14:13:54","slug":"the-new-diet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/the-new-diet\/","title":{"rendered":"The new diet&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My husband has never been one much interested in things healthy, but, as of late, he has become a fan of Dr. Asa Andrew. \u00a0After reading his book, Steve decides we are going on this diet. \u00a0 No dairy, no wheat&#8230;wwwhhhaattt???? \u00a0JIMMINIE CRICKETS!! \u00a0My\u00a0 first thought was, &#8220;What the heck are we going to eat? \u00a0I don&#8217;t know any recipes without dairy and wheat!&#8221;. \u00a0Thankfully, this &#8220;diet&#8221; (i.e. starvation 101) only lasts for 4 weeks. \u00a0However 4 weeks is a LONG time when all you are eating is eggs and nuts. \u00a0Oh&#8230;and half your body weight in ounces of water per day.<\/p>\n<p>Today is our day one. \u00a0I must say, there is a part of me which finds a speckle of excitement in the whole experience. \u00a0I am fairly certain we will be feeling better soon. \u00a0I just hope we can stick to our guns and finish the 4 weeks. \u00a0Discipline. \u00a0After his trip to Costco yesterday, we have enough fruit for a while. \u00a0It won&#8217;t last long because it is one of the only things we can eat.<\/p>\n<p>With much trepidation, I will say, Fruits, Veggies, nuts, beef, and chicken look out. \u00a0Here we come!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My husband has never been one much interested in things healthy, but, as of late, he has become a fan of Dr. Asa Andrew. \u00a0After reading his book, Steve decides we are going on this diet. \u00a0 No dairy, no wheat&#8230;wwwhhhaattt???? \u00a0JIMMINIE CRICKETS!! \u00a0My\u00a0 first thought was, &#8220;What the heck are we going to eat?
