{"id":91,"date":"2010-12-28T16:53:20","date_gmt":"2010-12-28T16:53:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/calvertstudios.wordpress.com\/?p=91"},"modified":"2010-12-28T16:53:20","modified_gmt":"2010-12-28T16:53:20","slug":"another-year-another-goal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/another-year-another-goal\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Year, Another Goal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, I feel this refreshing sense of new beginnings. \u00a0It lends itself to a desire for more out of life. \u00a0Instinctively, I am pushed towards creating a list of impossible goals. \u00a0Then, I reel myself back in and settle on 11 attainable goals. \u00a0Like most, I tend to forget these goals, and I find myself yet again at the end of a year and at the beginning of another. \u00a0Inspired, I make another list which will be forgotten.<\/p>\n<p>However, this year, I am holding myself accountable to you: \u00a0the reader. \u00a0By putting this list on the ever-growing and privacy destroying internet, I am solidifying goals. \u00a0Hopefully, this will make me more driven to remember what it was I wanted. \u00a0How is it we forget what it is we want? \u00a0Easy: \u00a0seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years.<\/p>\n<p>My List:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0Exercise. \u00a0How? \u00a03 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) cardio, 2 days a week, (Monday, Wednesday) strength and stretching. \u00a0I will give myself some flexibility due to being a mom.<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0Take one class (or read a blog) a week in photography. \u00a0The goal is to learn one thing I didn&#8217;t know, or I didn&#8217;t know how to do well.<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0Make one new dish a month. \u00a0I would say one new dish a week, but that&#8217;s pushing it.<\/p>\n<p>4. \u00a0Become a coupon clipper phenom. \u00a0I want to save as much money as I possibly can on food.<\/p>\n<p>5. \u00a0Keep a daily schedule. \u00a0I am already pretty good at this, but I want to get better.<\/p>\n<p>6. \u00a0Eat healthy. \u00a0I am TERRIBLE at drinking enough water. \u00a0If I could only drink 8 glasses a water a day, I would consider this a success on this goal.<\/p>\n<p>7. \u00a0Pick one month to photograph everyday. \u00a0nuff said.<\/p>\n<p>8. \u00a0Start a garden. \u00a0My husband and I want to start an organic garden this year. \u00a0We have tried this in the past, but this year, I&#8217;m going to plan better so it will be more fruitful.<\/p>\n<p>9. \u00a0Finish projects I keep putting off. \u00a0This goal in and of itself will keep me busy.<\/p>\n<p>10. \u00a0Work towards becoming completely debt free. \u00a0Just takes discipline.<\/p>\n<p>11. \u00a0The most important goal of all: \u00a0Do everything I can do, with God&#8217;s strength and wisdom, to be the best wife and mother I can be daily. \u00a0I want to focus on how I can serve my Lord, my husband, and my son by using the gifts God has given me.<\/p>\n<p>Ok&#8230;.there it is. \u00a0I must say that I am extremely excited about this! \u00a0Now, the trick is to stay excited about it daily. \u00a0I&#8217;ll keep you posted. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, I feel this refreshing sense of new beginnings. \u00a0It lends itself to a desire for more out of life. \u00a0Instinctively, I am pushed towards creating a list of impossible goals. \u00a0Then, I reel myself back in and settle on 11 attainable goals. \u00a0Like most, I tend to forget these goals, and I find [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-91","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/91","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=91"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/91\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=91"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=91"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.autumncalvert.com\/home\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=91"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
